Heart pounding, maddy looked for a split second into his surprised blue eyes, then turned her head and looked away.

That wasn't why she was there. She felt her cheeks glow, felt the heat rising up from her neck as she walked towards him. He stood up as she came over, a bit uncertainly, and she stopped a moment from him.

He stepped forwards and Maddy's eyes raked his body before, flushing madly, she forced her eyes back up to his face.
